Ryde Sputnik 700C rims

I'll never make a living as a photographer. Sputnik rim, black spokes and a Hope hub. I've got a shed load of rim tapes hanging in my garage so I used widish one. It's quite a wide rim.

Anyone either got these on their bike or built wheels with them and if so how reliable are they? A friend has asked me to lace a couple of Hope hubs into a pair of workhorse winter rims and he's keen on the Ryde Sputnik but until now I've never heard of them. They look ok but I can't find many reviews.

2 bicycles, my touring setup laced into Dynamo Hub and 105 Hub. Audax bicycle laced into 105 Hubs almost 15 years old now still going strong.
