I am looking at replacing the brakes on my road bike (currently 'tektro', not very good) with a S/H pair of shimano 105s. Looking on ebay there are quite a few going for reasonable prices.
What I'm wondering is if the fundamental design has changed much over the years and is a 15 year old pair functionally much the same as a more recent examples, wear and tear excepted, or has the design changed significantly in that time?
