Sabotage or bad luck

I have used 2 bikes at work today both perfectly fine when I left them alone.

I got in from a meeting at 12 and parked my leave-at-work bike next to the one I'd ridden in on & noticed that one had a flat rear tyre. Odd but y'know, it happens.

Came down at rhe end of the day to fix that one only to find the other one also had a flat rear.

The floor area in the stairwell is clean and debris free and both are showing v similar damage and too big a hole to be a coincidental pair of slow punctures. Both tubes binned. 1 x marathon tyre and 1 with a puncture liner in it anyway.

Not impressed whether it is bad luck or someone having a laugh at my expense.

That definitely sounds a bit like sabotage...remote, wireless, movement detecting web cam?

Buy a Cobra and a Rattlesnake and leave them next to the bikes. See if any farker goes near the bikes then.

Sounds like there is a dickhead about to me, have you had 'words' with anyone or is there a 'cycle hater' with access to your bikes.

Agree. If the hole is big then the tyre would have made an audible deflation. I'd be sticking a hidden trail camera up myself.

I once came out of work years back to find some plonker had stood on my rim and snapped my valve stem (pretty blimmin hard to do imo). Ended up leaving a note on the door of the cycle locking area vociferously outlining my disgust at their clumbsy shambles.

My Mrs and I had 3 punctures between us pretty much simultaneously

No, different routes completely. One from home, one from a meeting other side of town.
