why get off? stand on pedals slip hand in (having removed glove if necessary)cup and adjust sit retrieve glove and up cadence

Tried it and almost face planted. I normally have 3-4 layers on so it's tough going trying to break through. Not too mention the potholes and on coming loonies hell bent on trying to do you harm.

Not easy on a fixed....
