You may be lucky, but the French are the only people in Europe worse at learning and using other people's languages than we are!

That's what my French teacher says. They apparently get taught loads of grammar but have next to no practice actually speaking it.

So be careful; it's possible that her understanding of English will be pretty good! Mind what you say!!
