Condolences, at least you were both spared the last terrible trip to the vet and she went in a place she felt safe.
 
Sorry to hear that. Our oldest mog is 12 and we occasionally have a wonder when her time will come. We had to have our great big scruffy nit of a tom cat put down a couple of years back, cut us all up for yonks.
My in-laws had their venerable old lady for 21 years. She was totally deaf by the time they had her put down but still active enough to chase young cats out of her garden 'territory'!

Sorry to hear that bit of news.Never had any pets as an adult.All because of one death many years ago.
My brother had every pet going at one time or another.
But it was the rabbit that did it.
He had a rabbit but it was badly housed and the poor thing froze to death.I was a teenager and i cried my eyes out at the foot of the stairs.That our ignorance had caused it to suffer.

Oh, sympathy mate, but I know what you mean about relief. Sounds like she had a good old life, which is all any of us can hope for.
