I had a really cheap saddle on my bike for security reasons but as its a sit up and beg roadster and my lower back has had issues in the past its not good. Im upgrading to something costing £25 with elastomer springs. Im a bit worried about it getting pinched. I can't use the ball bearing track as the seat post is nut and bolt, not hex bolt, due to being an old bike. How about painting my name on it? But will the paint rub off on my rear? Any other ideas?

Yeah that is the more obvious thing to do rather than come up with some elaborate plan. They do look a bit snippable, but I'll give it a try.

In fact I think my wife bought one years ago for her bike and never used it; must be in a draw somewhere at home. So erm thanks for reminding me!
