Saddles

I'm in the process of building
A refurbished Frederick pratt frame from 1962
I'm making a list of parts to fit I was thinking on white handlebar tape and white saddle but I'm not sure it would be fitting for a 1962 bike
Any advice on a recommended saddle also when did coloured tape and saddles come into production

Back in the 70's saddles were either black or brown, white saddles were on Raleigh shoppers

For saddles either a Wrights/Brooks B5n (obsolete but they come up on the bay) or the B17n (narrow version of the B17) which are available new and for the handlebars cloth tape.
