My mum buys all her cards and christmas crackers and stuff in January for a fraction of the pre-xmas price. I wish I was that organised!

My wife does this but then claims she can't remember what we've got and so buys them all again anyway.
We have a loft full of cards, crackers, wrapping paper etc.
Find any shop that isn't selling Christmas stuff!

I can sort of see the point in starting to put stuff like tins of sweets & biscuits that (some) people might want to start hoarding up for christmas, but why do they have things like cake and mince pies that are going to be past thier sell by date before it's even December?
