Currently in Egpyt for a couple of weeks and my cab driver from the airport reckons a big sandstorm is on the way. Haven't cycled in one of them before.

An old uncle of my mum has some good stories about sand and the desert from his time serving with the 51st Highland Division in North Africa during WW2

i've been in a sandstorm. you might also have trouble breathing!

i would love to take my bike to egypt. where i stayed was nothing but flat long roads as far as the eye could see

I was once in a sand storm in the Gulf that lasted for several days, not something I'd what to repeat. The joke what's in for me.......sand, comes to mind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
