I work in Coventry and my local sandwich van plays "I'm forever blowing bubbles" as it's jingle, presumably the owner is a West Ham fan.
I also frequent the Ladypool Road area of Birmingham. I'm sure the local ice cream van there is playing "Frigging in the rigging"!

Go on, tilt your head!
Argh sore subject. The sandwich man around here has just got a new van I think. The horn is ridiculously loud and he now plays it three times instead of once lol. Its the standard dukes of hazzard airhorn style.

Frigging in the rigging  that's not a great tune to associate with ice cream but it would put a smile on my face. Maybe you should suggest something by the specials?

New M+S van here plays the test cricket theme tune. Its impossible not to dance around when you hear it.

Am I missing something here?? At the risk of looking daft.......M+S = Marks and Spencer and why would they have a van playing a jingle?

I'm sure it was in Sheffield that I saw a sandwich van playing the Batman theme but the word Batman was replaced by Bapman!

Our local van plays the theme to The Third Man (on jingly bells not a Zither)

You think you're missing something? I wasn't even aware that sandwich vans were a thing! Never seen one around here, I'm actually kind of jealous.

The jingle on the local ice-cream van broke a few years back. She's just honked the horn ever since!

No you're not missing anything, the one in Sheffield was the first and last one I've seen. I don't think sandwich vans go round the streets like ice cream vans do, I think they mostly go round industrial estates at lunchtime.
