Sandwich/ice cream van jingles

Our local ice-cream van man was found dead in his van,covered in strawberry sauce and hundreds n thousands. They think he'd topped himself.

Am I missing something here?? At the risk of looking daft.......M+S = Marks and Spencer and why would they have a van playing a jingle?

I'm sure it was in Sheffield that I saw a sandwich van playing the Batman theme but the word Batman was replaced by Bapman!

The Bapvan does a round in the Castleford/Normanton industrial estates and it does play the batman theme, our local ice cream van plays allsorts of tunes, but as soon as it stops moos and crows like a cockeral.

Constantly, for the past 20 years I've lived in this town. Same song.

We had something like this, where I grew up. It just had sleighbells on it.

Getting ice cream should be a tradition, not an irritation. Fellow who rode it wore a suit, immaculately clean. Must have been a pretty difficult job in a town as hilly as Peoria.

Its just as it sounds. I work on the Cambridge science park and the sandwich vans make a killing. There is an M+S one that comes round. It's even got a loyalty bonus scheme, buy 6 sarnies and get the 7th for free.

Our local van plays the music from Monty Python's Flying Circus. I was however entertained at Surprise View car park the other day by an ice cream van blasting out Faith No More . Although not from the jingles, which would've been .
