Sat nav/GPS?

Hi all,

I'm in the market for a budget Sat Nav. Anyone had any experience with this one - http://ubuyhardware.com/p~p-719613444~b-11210000~Garmin-Nuvi-255W-Auto--Road-GPS.aspx ? Are Garmin reputable?

If you want to save money, I started a thread in the equipment section with many free ones that work on mobiles with GPS which many of us have already.

Not as good if you are using the internal GPS but free nonetheless, also check bay for used Garmins etc, some people ahve to have the latest and greatest and sell off last week's model.

I have the Garmin 250W only had it a few weeks, it works and the functions are very good and easy to use.
As for Garmin the company it is second to none for after sales service even after the guarantee has run out, I had a handheld GPS which was a total write-off worth nearly £250, got a replacement recon from them for £87 and that was 2 years after I bought it
