Morning, warm and clear here. Off shortly on a social group ride. Should be fun.

Just discharging my cans of WD40 into a separate container. Wouldn't want to risk over pressurisation in this heat. Need to leave the container open to let it breathe, mind or I'll just get propellant all over my chain. Should I keep it in the shed or the greenhouse?

ParkRun beckons, then there's some kind of arts festival going on in town. Will be sure to have a mooch around there.

Moaning People,

Could have slept better on account of the bedroom being being like an over last night. Off out in a bit to walk the hounds before it warms up, then a spot of bike fettling & fiddling and maybe a spot of sim racing if it isn't too hot in the cave later on.

Morning

I thought I would get the old bushes out of the lower suspension arm on the 944 with a blow torch. Seems sensible.
It's a bit dull. Heat seems to have gone which is good and bad.

Afternoon folks,
Currently in Bilbao having spent the last week in northern Spain to see the total eclipse. Had a great view across the small village we were staying in and over the plains beyond. Never been to this part of Spain, it really is quite beautiful. Stayed in a really quirky hotel for the last couple of nights run by a former pro cyclist that didn’t quite make it as he didn’t want to do the drugs necessary in the early 90s, the irony being he wound up on antidepressants as a result and now wishes he’d gone along with it. Quite a character though, we seem to have got through a few bottles of Rioja chatting with neither of us fully understanding the other. Wine is a great lubricant for such occasions.

Afternoon
Its warmish and rather breezy in the kingdom. Went for a pedal and it was hard in to the wind but got 62 miles and bit done. Now feeling a bit broken might have to have a glass of wine to recover.
