Morning SG, early start 😲. Currently very warm here and struggling to get back to sleep. Parkrun later followed by a trip to the theatre.

no sun so far, but a pleasant 20c under the dawn cloud

ride ridden, pointy bird was at the pond pretending to be nonchalant, but the fish are staying well away

Coffee then give the bike a once over for tonight.
You doing the ride to the sun then? We've got some up here already, so there's no real need to head off to Carlisle. Rode there once overnight as a student. Had a real crisis of sleep deprivation at Carlisle station, but was convinced to continue further down to Windermere. Different times.

Anyhow, breakfast and coffee consumed; a day with the in-laws and further adventures in pressure washing await.

Yep, will be from the sun to the sun hopefully. It's my annual century ride 😄

Morning
I too have sun here in Fife. Feeling a bit battered after yesterdays lumberjacking. So it will finish coffee see if Bertie’s up for a walk as he was limping intermittently yesterday then find somewhere to ride my bike.

Mornin',

Junior hound caught a Magpie yesterday, Wife and junior got it off him but thought it might die, so put it in a cardboard box with a towel, stuck it in the cave overnight and if it was still alive they'd take it to a local wildlife place. When they went down to check it this morning, it flew out the door... miraculous recovery, or could just have been in shock after its traumatic Cockerpoo encounter. Luckily only one bird s**t to clear up...

Anyhow, out for a ride in a bit once my mate gets here.

Ride done. Half of it was sunny, half of it was cloudy. Therefore, I probably should pay 0.23% CT according to the Bonnet Barnet Formula/Duckworth Lewis Solar calculation (BBF/DLS for future reference).

Later: Trout and some French Vino.

One lucky Jackdaw not baked in a pie. Hang on, something not quite right there.

My Scottish ride was sunny as well but very windy 13/14 in to wind on the flat 25/30 with it behind me.
Followed part of a sustrans route one from St Andrews going to Glenrothes. On one stretch never saw a car amazing bit of road.

rode limo past rather scenic lesbian march to achieve couple of bottles of bubbly in quags, plus cocktails

decamped to naughty corner in donovan bar with mrs s and one of her babe chums for more bubbly

really quite squiffy now, hic
