Off to some Chookta venue up North wot has more ice!? So that people can slide bits of granite on it. How bizarre.

Morning all. Enjoy the parent taxi trip, I actually miss taking my 2 lads around the UK and EU to various competitions. Anyway no parkrun this morning as all my local ones are cancelled due to the ice. Looks like more bike accessory research and chillaxing today. May even start preparing my old gravel bike for selling, assuming I can get my workshop warm enough. Stay safe in the artic conditions folks.

Penultimate day here. It's snowing but not settling. Feeling a lot perkier than yesterday, when the odd seemingly-recurring bug struck again. Will see what the weather does later... probs a bit of a stroll, along with exciting stuff like washing floors & tidying up ready for tomorrow afternoon's departure for the journey back to Devon via the Royal Brompton (for a pile of tests).

Coffee-flavoured hot water (decaf) in hand, while I watch the mountains.

Storm Goretti has pushed off but its still not good riding weather. Will nip into town for supplies and a spot of lunch then do a spot of sim racing. My tax return needs finishing but CBA.
