Morning WM, can't be bothered to look out of the window yet. I can confirm its dark though and sounds dry, time will tell. Off doing parkrun later then stuff with the family.

Dry and bright here but things are a little frosty, already had a hair and beard trip from Mrs W. Need to walk Bertie then gets some climbing done.

Slow ish start after just over 3 hrs kip, but rhe Christmas party was fun.

Hounds walked, pig based breakfast incoming and then apparently we want to go Christmas shopping rather than fun biking with a pal.

Mums in for an op today so I imagine my old chap will be around at some point.

Pub later, obviously

Only got up half an hour ago, but still feeling a bit zonked. Had a big sleep deficit to clear although still on Tokyo time.

Better grab few supplies then it's off to get ourselves a Christmas tree.

Hope all goes ok for your Mum. 🤞

Not a bad day here, but much of it spent doing jobs round here again. Interminable painting job, and other random chores. Missed out on a ride or walk as was too knackered at the end of the day to bother. Drinks and bar snacks in the late sunshine instead

raging storm arrived last night, never seen one like it here, monsoon proportions, power outs, but it's lazy packing day so not really fussed

spent much of the night throwing up, shivering, sweating, and going dizzy, clearly eaten something dodgy, finally stopped throwing up at 0430, probably nothing left, certainly feel rather washed out

treating myself with water laced with a high5 electrolyte tablet and sipping choc recovery drink for carbs

I feel your pain. We had that last time we visited the Canaries out of season. Think the lack of turnover of restaurant food was to blame. Bizarrely we had a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 $hitters, so we managed ok.
Get well soon
