Been up to do the horse and drop daughter at work. Stunning clear sky this morning, great display of Jupiter. Bit of a frost, water trough frozen over.

Busy day today. Food and drink consumption, but also more horsing later.

Absolutely no idea what I'm going to do with today - cold but sunny. Won't be a hot picnic lunch today (been there, done that), so probably early soup & bread lunch, then a gentle trundle to go and play with the drone somewhere. But we'll see.

Let the coffee continue in the meantime.

Morning all. Big family dinner for some silly reason, I blame the OH. Luckily its at a local pub come restaurant, sadly i'm paying for all 14 eek. They can buy there own drinks. Not looking forward to it, one off only after the row me and the OH has over it. To make matters worse I've gone down with a sore throat, typical. Suspect I'll just wallow in self pity till later. Enjoy your Saturday.

A reminder to everyone that Week 1 of the 2026 edition of the ‘3 x 30min rides x 52 weeks’ challenge will start on Monday 29th December – and will run through until Sunday 4th January.

If you do three outdoor rides of over 30 minutes on at least two separate days in Week 1 then please post the details of your rides in Week 1 of the challenge. Photos are particularly welcome.

It would be REALLY nice if more people entered this challenge!
