Saving web-pages for unconnected viewing

Hi everyone,

I want to show my brother information (pictures, prices, specifications, etc.) on a number of web-pages when I go to see him tomorrow. He has no interest in computers hence no internet connection.

Do I need to print off the relevant pages or can I save the pages via File>Save and show them him later without an internet connection?

Apologies to anyone who feels that I'm drastically lowering the average IQ of CC members :headshake:

File - Save always works for me, although you might find the odd advertisment or picture not appearing if it's hosted on another website - it all depends on how the page is written. The best way to check is to save everything you want to show him, then unplug or disable your internet connection(s) and see if the webpages have all the information you need 'offline'. Hope this helps.

this used to work much better but lately both saving and printing don't always work as you expect. As ABikeCam suggests - test it first. I'd also try printing to pdf (saves paoer - use PDFill or similar, works just like a 'printer') and possibly combining it with 'print screen' if neither file-save or file-print are working.
