Saying Hi from Essex

Just thought I would say a quick Hi as a newbie. A bit on me - aged 44, 1 wife, 2 daughters, 1 dog, 4 cats. Ride Giant Escape Disc, and have a Tern Joe D24 I take into the city when I need to (nice little folding bike with 26 inch wheels). Ride to enjoy it, lose weight, and hide from the wife and just getting my daughters into riding (and both have Apollo XC bikes - one a 20 inch wheel and the other a 24 inch).
Always think I should maintain my bikes more than I do but never seem to get to it, although not had many catastrophic failures so guess I do enough. Like cake (probably a little too much!)
