if you are going to ride in icy conditions. Then take it very easy. Try not to use the front brake too much.

I have a Secteur Sport so it would be rude not to add my tuppeth. Bought mine in Nov 09 and have just clocked up 550 miles on it, not huge mileage compared to some on this forum but not bad for the time of year.

Get out there and make the most of the non-rainy days even if it is cold, just take it easy on the corners, you will be fine. I have only come off once in the snow at walking pace. On the roads you would need to be fairly going to have problems with a bit of frost, so get out there and have a go!

If you want handling experience of frost you want to go out about 10pm at night in the winter some nights. Frost won't usually do you a great deal of harm at all, ice is another matter.
