scared of frost :o(

it was -3 when i went to bed last night, and i thought"oh great" but when i woke at 6am it was cloudy and no frost, so it was all good.
i'm thinking of doing the Gower bike ride in july, 29mile, for the british heart foundation, so i think i need to get down to proper cycling and stop being soft lol.

Nice one mik.29 miles will be no problem on the Secateur if your doing 12 miles a day now.I was doing 10-20 milers last year then went on a cc ride with some of the 'Cheshire set' 60 miles all in and I'm by no means fit.

should be fun doing the Gower bike ride, its a lovely place to be, i work on the roads all around gower and Swansea, so i know the area, also it gives me something to train to.
i always think its secateur aswell lol, it is secteur

"Sek tur" as you say...I nearly put my foot in it when Potsy came out with us last November, THEN did I twig when I read the label...... Nice bikes, very swoopy.....

You are going to be fine on a 12 miler commute (each day) by then. TBH.... you'll be good to do a lot more miles by then...believe you me. Have fun, it's a great laugh riding with that many cyclists.....well worth doing.

i'm looking forward to the gower ride, and i think that when i do the ride and get mixed up with all the other cyclist, i will be looking to join a club i think.
lol at myself........i'll have to go round the course a couple ofweeks before the ride and fix all the pots holes rofl, as that is my day job

lol@ianrauk.......the roads have been battered this winter, ice and the salt have just eroded roads, we are flat out at work, they aint just potholes.....there craters lol
