Short stretch of dual carriageway that goes from a 40 to a 60 then back to a 30 limit all within the distance of less than a mile. Its OK at 6 in the morning on the way to work as there's hardly a car on it. Its a different matter at 5 in the afternoon when it becomes a bit of a racetrack. I've had too many close overtakes to mention.:wahhey:

Not the scariest but hardest, an 11% hill which goes on for about 1/2 a mile.

I´ve got one like that, too, through a forest.

Going up (in the morning) is OK, but cpming down at speed 40-50 km on a gravel path with blind turns (horses, cyclists and runners making sudden appearances, and on the wrong side) is a bit daunting.

Only had one off, though (so far) when some geezer came round a corner on my side. :wahhey:

The roundabout I got knocked off on last December......

OK going to work, as it's just two junctions, but less than 90 degrees of turn, going home short way is OK as it's one junction (go down road from where the 'driver knocked me off') but old way home means I'd have to ride 270 degrees round it, past the two lane approach where drivers go too fast. I now ride a different route all together going home.....

For me it is completely illogical. I have a problem with Queensferry Services, turn right across the road and down a slight slope with a bend to the left past the petrol station.

For some reason it scares the hell out of me, but I can't figure out why:blush:

For me it's the junction 5 M6 motorway roundabout, I have to take the third exit on my commute home.

I used to work in the middle of Birmingham and the roundabout by the Blues ground is the most dangerous bit of road I've ever had to cycle along. I was never hit on my bike, but I was once side swiped when I was on my motorbike there. Bloke pulled onto the roundabout and went into the side of me, another SMIDSY. He tried claiming against me as well!

North end of Tottenham Court Road - 4 lanes of one-way traffic, some going left immediately into a side road, some going left at the next junction, some going straight on, some going right. Bendy buses going left from the right hand lane, bendy buses going straight on from the left hand lane, double-deckers going right from the left hand lane. Taxis diving left to a hotel to pick up rich fare. Pedestrians crossing. Bikes rlj'ing left right and centre. Somehow I managed to thread through all this brownian motion traffic every night, helped only by the fact that I've never found all 4 sets of traffic lights that pepper this stretch green at the same time, slowing everyone down just enough.
