So, our eldest has just started school and living in East London it is quite ethnically diverse.

So, we get invited to her Christmas play yesterday and in this modern PC world we all live in, you can guess what it was!

Yes, it was a lovely nativity story telling the story of baby Jesus told from the perspective of the animals around the manger.

Well, you can guess what the reaction of all the different faith parents was in there. They all loved it and were singing along to the carols and everyone cheered at the end.

Oh, and get the school's policy on daring to bring cameras into this. The made an announcement at the beginning....that anyone is welcome to take photos or videos, just please make sure you're not blocking the cameras of anyone else.

I think many schools are 'ethically diverse' nowadays, my 2 so to CofE schools, together with their friends who are Hindu & Muslim. The Christmas play is always the story of the birth of Jesus though..

Both the schools say it's OK to film/take pictures, but you should try and take them only of your children:rolleyes:

You're just making all this up to stir up some trouble. Inter-faith harmony? Don't be ridiculous. And everyone knows that people with cameras are all paedo-terrorists!

Very true, my Daughter learns about Diwali and Eid, as well Christmas and Easter. I have no problem with it, hopefully it will make her more rounded and inclusive.
