Well I admit to having got sick and tired of watching the processions of his consecutive world championships but it'll be exciting to see him back on track against Hamilton etc. Off to Spa in August to see my first F1 race, gonna be great!

Fantastic news for the fans, not sure if it's a good move for him though. If he looses people will automatically claim he is not as talented as first thought, when the fact is he just is. Can't wait to get to silverstone this year though, will be a great to watch the master at work!

Well after Hakkinen left he presided over the most boring era in F1 history. I am kind of glad he's back in a weird way. I think I'm getting soft . Looking forward to 2010.

I suppose if you discount his neck injury which various people think prevented him taking up Massa's available drive last year it is similar to the living legend who retired for 2 years. In some strange way there's another parallel there.

Bet the people with signed tickets from his last race are annoyed though!

Boo hoo.

I just hope he looses a lot, and I think he will. Watched a program about Jackie Stuart the other day and it makes you realize just how dull F1 has become.

not exactly his fault that the other teams and drivers weren't good enough to match him, were they?

Great to see him back and no doubt the nice Mr Ecclestone is adding up how much money he can make from the extra coverage.

The only fly in the ointment for me is that he will be driving for Mercedes :wahhey:

Yeah, what with the lack of deaths and that eh?

It was carnage. It's amazing to think of what was acceptable not very long ago. Makes you wonder what things will be like in the future.

I was thinking about the lack of aerodynamic aids and lack of grip in general that gave you close racing and cars going round corners sideways. That was racing.
