I have a pair of "farmers pliers" I bought in a hardware shop in the middle of nowhere in South West France.
Very good they are too!

Yes and almost anything unsubtle. Can do an electric fence if you have dry hands and wellies.
Not to be compared with the effete copies in Brico and their ilk.

My wife (and me tbf) will bring back vegetable knives. Just cheap ones, if abroad perhaps a euro or two each...but they're just so sharp and long lasting compared to the overpriced, short life stuff we often buy by mistake here.
