anyone use them?

I've had a couple of visits in the last week on the rear (Alfine) of my pompino whilst on the commute and could really do without it on the way to work, one visit being courtesy of a pothole snakebite.
Using Schwalbe blizzards at present and I do realise they will probably be slower and harder work but I'll put up with (some) of the downsides if it can reduce instances as the Alfine is a bit of a fiddle to deal with and I really wouldn't want to be doing it in the rain.
And any reason I couldn't just use one on the back and stick with the Blizzard on the front? (Apart from the fashion faux pas of a blue blizzard on the front and black durano on the rear)

BTW I have M+ on the rigid mtb and don't bother taking a spare tube/repair kit out with me now

I use them on my Langster Steel. Not had any issues upto now, (touches wood).

Also use Marathon Plus on my CX bike for commuting, never had any issues with them either.

I run Durano+ rear and Durano front, it's a combo I'm happy with. Visits are few and far between but are much faster/lighter than running M+ like I do on the hybrid.
Admittedly the M+ have never had a visit so the only way is down in comparison

I'll certainly be replacing like with like next time I have to, which tells you something.

Thanks for the replies. I actually ordered one for the rear and got it this morning. The sidewalls are thicker than the centreline of the Blizzards! Time will tell on them - have to wait till I get back to commuting next week.

Schwalbe Luganos (now in folding too) have never given me a puncture - ride well and very cheap too! Must be the best cheapo tyre on the market right now. £10 wire £15 folding.
