I freely admit I know nothing about BMXs. But someone donated this Scorpion Defect to the charity earlier on. Now I've fettled it, I've realised I don't have the faintest idea what it's worth. Anyone out there give me a clue?

Will be a lot of fun / freedom for some lucky ‘child’ though 😎 Good luck……
If it is a child that gets it, I hope that the parents keep a closer on him/her than some parents seem to do! This summer I have been encountering lots of very young kids on bikes and scooters suddenly shooting out from behind parked cars and from side streets, alleys, and hedge-shrouded driveways - something really bad is going to happen eventually.

I said child - mainly because a really decent modern ‘adult’ BMX can be £2k these days. So no keen adult; or anyone in the know will be attempting anything remotely serious on this. Not too many tines before it starts self-destructing anyway……

Yea - I hear you. I had a close one in semi daylight one Morning recently on the way to work. Involving a child of perhaps 10 years old and with no lights on…….🙄

Looks to have really cheap brakes, hi tensile frame, one piece crank, non pivotal seat etc etc - all signs of a very cheap catalogue / dept store type bike.

£40-£50 value tops imo.

That's what I needed to know! I'll put it up at £50 and expect to get £40. Cheers.
