I am sure he was still a driving test examiner when I was learning to drive. I always remember my instructor telling me that if he was the examiner when I did my test to remember and give cyclists a nice wide berth. For the life of me, I can't remember if it was him who took my test. Can't remember passing any cyclists on my test that day anyway.
