I have an Ultimate USE Vybe Alloy Suspension Seatpost on one bike & a SUNTOUR SP12-NCX Suspension Seatpost on the other I much prefer the Suntour so want to buy another, as typical they are different diameters so can't be swapped over. The Suntour comes in 2 different lengths 350mm & 400mm, currently my seat rails are 255mm above the top of the seat tube, will 95mm insertion be enough as I am struggling to get the 400mm version?

It says 65mm so surely 90 is more than enough.

Thank you I missed those although having looked on the first page
Whatever you do make sure you have enough seat tube to get below the top tube/seat tube join. This will minimise stress on the frame etc.
A 350mm stem will fall just below the weld as below

I'd be looking for more purchase than that. Hang on for the 400mm.
