Phone call this morning informing us,the buyer has pulled out.A bit of damp has been blamed, but we don't know where. So until we are told nothing can be done. This is the second failed sale. The first could not get a mortgage after their property was revalued.A bit of a damp squid to say the least.

My father's house has also fallen through, with the buyer pulling out. He's still going ahead with the purchase of a different house, so will have two for a while until someone buys his existing bungalow

Want a swap? It's a lovely big bungalow in the Vale of Belvoir. With a hole in the middle! (a courtyard)

@postman - Goosnargh is fine from a brief visit I had rolling through. If a little small. Hopefully a proper sale will occur soon.

Nice little village ( on my regular escape ride from preston)
Unfortunately it's getting bigger every year
It is the same nearly everywhere. Towcester pretty much doubled in size while my sister lived there. She now lives near Crediton in Devon and that has new estates popping up all over the place. Up here, Clitheroe is gradually expanding towards Whalley.

We had lots of Silverfish in our 1st house. To my memory we were told they are not unclean and are harmless. Still not nice though.

I live in the north side of Warrington. About 1 mile from us is/was green belt. Its not stopped them building 1200 houses on it.
To the south of Warrington plans are in for building 4,200 houses on the farms and areas of beauty.
