I've been on a commuter and old rigid MTBs for too long so find road bikes insanely uncomfortable but I want to make use of some of the local bridleways that I've been seeing since we moved to Kent.

My list of requirements is as follows:
Discy MC hydro discs.
Superwide slick capable, 700cx42-48mm!
Fenders....
Bottle mounts
Di2 capable
It will be flared drop bar.
I'd like thruaxles but not essential.

I would love steel but will consider To or Alu no carbon though.

Anyway Im looking for frame and fork so any suggestions are welcome. Plus budget is loooow unless it's the bike of my dreams, which is unlikely as that would be deeply custom and probably to and made in America.

Cheers all.

Cheers for the suggestion bonefish, I've been considering it but would really like a test ride. Before committing.

Have you ridden one? What was it like?

I’ve got one of these. A Specialized AWOL Cro mo tubing and fork. Don’t know where might find one now. Complete bike available from Evans. Nice bike.
Built up.

No, I'm currently without income so I dare not!

However I have been looking very often and very hard at the Ti flavoured one...
