Those hover board thing are a bloody pain. Half the kids in town have them and they whizz about, weaving in and out of the weekend traffic on the front, slalom around the elderly folks on the prom. The freak the dogs out no end.

Just like bikes then .... and skateboards .... oh and roller blades .... not to mention Heelies ....

A student was riding one inside Wilkos store in Headingley last Thursday,instore i ask you.

Exactly .... where do they get the money to go shopping?

Just been to Vienna - saw a bloke using an electric unicycle on the cycle paths. He got a lot of looks.

Also young dude on a swegway in Heathrow airport, nobody seemed bothered but then it wasn't crowded. I suppose he might have come to the attention of the airport staff at some point.

The lad recently skateboarded for miles through a US airport and didn't even get shot .....

I see more hoverboard things than I do kids with any of the others at the moment. Not seen a skater since moving here, there were loads in Norwich. Only seen one skateboard too. Then again, it's autumn and there are not many tourists at the mo.

I have been to two US airports where the police use them to get around the terminal building. If my first inclination was to laugh, I restrained myself in front of the burly, six foot something, heavily armed Baltimore cop.

That'd be on a Segway though.
