I live in selby north Yorkshire anyone in the area that mountain bikes on a regular basis ?

I know 'Mountain biking' doesn't have to be on actual mountains, and can just be off-road, but I'm struggling to think of Selby and mountains in the same breath....

Sorry, I'm no help, I like tarmac and the smoother, the better...

It's more people in the area to meet up with and organise rides

Keep your eyes peeled for rides out of York. The CC'ers of York are quite an active bunch. People arrive from all over as well.
I ride out from Leeds through Selby quite often, usually when I have had enough of hills.
