BBC World service had one yesterday, that fooled me at the time. It was only last night I went "doh!"
The EU had ruled to ban bubbles from French champagne and German beer to reduce the carbon footprint. They were studying replacing carbon dioxide with nitrous oxide; theu described the output of a single vine in those well understood measures, the jeroboam and the methuselah, and had quoted Jancis Robinson at how rubbish champagne would taste. The went on to say the rules would not apply to cava or prosecco as the Italians and Spanish never took any notice of EU regulations anyway.
I was cycling at the time so not paying full attention, but yeah, they got me.
