There are people around here who won’t be granted custody of an animal from Bath Cats and Dogs Home. Yet they have a brood of human beings.

Yes, I sometimes think, it would be a good idea to introduce a "permit to have children", then, I think, OMG, have I just thought that?

Playing devils advocate...the video i've seen shows nothing of the minutes before the wave hit. Now it MAY be he was just walking the promenade with his son and was unexpectedly / nearly caught by a freak wave. Equally he may have known but its not clear from the video so it'd be unfair to slate him based purely on the video.

Places like that become very well known locally for wave activity. He could have just flown in from Timbuktu, but I doubt it.

I know realistically you're right...of course, the guy was PROBABLY an utter d1ck...but, it's a trait I have, dont jump to conclusions so sometimes I find myself trying to see another angle, rather than shooting from the hip, even if shooting from the hip often brings you to the right conclusion.
