Due to circumstances i need to sell my giant tcr and i have no idea how to price it
1997 giant tcr
Originally came with campag triple but i couldnt get on with it and the reach was too long so i have done numerous upgrades.
stem adapter to modern bars
105 10 speed shifters with tiagra 4600 derailliers and brake calipers
New miche square taper chainset
Superstar components wheelset that have done maybe 300 miles in total
charge spoon saddle
size 50 (?) with a 54 toptube

A smart but elderly, by modern standards, machine of middling spec. Id suggests aim for £150, but nearer the ton would probably be more realistic.

If you have the time and inclination it'd be worth more as parts.

Oh that takes me back , that was my first proper bike when I got back into cycling. Loved the campag triple , I still miss it now . 😀

It all depends how quickly you need the cash @cyberknight

Personally I'd sell it as parts plus frame on eBay as 'buy now' which would earn more but take longer. You've got to factor in time to pack and post as well though.

The prices above are about right and for a quick sale stick it on Facebook marketplace, Gumtree and eBay but expect idiots with stupid offers on the first two.

Facebook marketplace is a strange beast.

As soon as I list something, there's jokers offering me half the listed price, then nothing for a week or two followed by some genuine interest after which I usually get the requested price. I don't tend to be over optimistic in what I look for.
