i always thought that the really serious cyclists would have no time for such frippery as cycling (or any other) forums…

I never doubted he could do it - he does work in IT after all. I always thought what he really needed was a blog - because crazed rants can often end up being a kind of strange genius on blogs - but the problem is that he wants other people to do things his way too...

He had one for a while. I think he gave it up because he wasn't happy with it.

Strangely ambivalent myself, but whatever happens to the new forum, or whether he ever returns to this one, I can go to my grave happy that I have read and joined in on one of the funniest, surreal forum exchanges I have ever seen. Who could ever forget the "cows" thread? Pure Bonj, pure class.
