This is one man I simply cannot watch on TV.

Regarded by many as a 'cheeky chappie' I regard him simply as a self-obsessed fool. His 'ham' over-acted mannerisms get right under my skin in milliseconds.

Am I in the minority here or majority?

I find I have to agree with you on that.............he is so false.
The whole Question of Sport is also completely false. It's all rehearsed and they know the answers before-hand. As soon as I read that all the "false crap" fell into place and I stopped watching it.
Each to his own........some will love it and good for them. I am sure I enjoy certain prog's that others loathe.

On a QofS note, when Ally McCoist was playing for Killie there were rumours that he was enjoying off set dalliances with Sue Barker. I suspect that was just daft football chat, but one thing I know is true: he fell off the set one week and was unable to play for us because he'd sprained his ankle.

Like a few of the previous posters, I only encounter him on cricket related programmes - I like him on those (TMS, The Five Live Cricket Show).
