Can anyone give me a simple 'how to'? I've googled any number of links but they're all useless.

I need to use wep because one of the laptops i want to connect is w98se and can't handle wpa. When I try to set the router for wep I put in a word and it generates four different codes. Is this so I can have one for each pooter I want to connect, and I have to use one of these 8-figure/letter numbers as the 'password' on each one? Thanks if you can help.

Take the first of the codes it generates from the passphrase, and use that as the wep key / password on each laptop.

Job done.

On mine there are 4 codes too; but there is a tick box next to each one, and you tick the one (of the four) that you want to use. Then type that sequence of numbers/letters into the computer.
