Up early to get parked at Glenfinnan for today's Munros (nearest distillery citation needed).

Thankfully those who like to grin for the 'gram aren't as keen to get up for it.

Coffee, breakfast, all done.

Nice day and not too hot so sacked off going into the office. Also today is my Friday so double win. Cup of coffee then press on with stuff.

Just found out an old uni mate of mine died 😔 - hadn't been in touch for a good few years but only found out when another uni mate googled him to see where he was/what he was up to and found the obituary from last November. He was only 59: the Big C got him we suspect. Another reminder to make the most of it folks.

Morning
It is now sunny following the murky start. Bertie was taken to the Arboretum for a run round I suspect he may be banned at some point for stealing seeds as his ears were green when we left. I may attempt some weights in a bit and later may be the pub with Neil if he’s allowed out as apparently the last time he went he fell off his bike on the way home.

Afternoon folks,
A day of shirking from home, nice and sunny out. Got to wobble over to the old dear’s later to get some paperwork signed, then out with the EPO. Had a nice ride last night, roads were lovely and quiet for some reason.
Lad came off his bike a couple of days back, he’s not too badly hurt as he landed on his head/face. Apparently another cyclist turned right without looking as he was passing them in a cycle lane. He can’t remember, but that’s what he was told. Ambulance crew picked up the bike as well as him thankfully. He’s got to rest for a few days which he’s finding difficult.
Sorry to hear about your mate Stevo, you’re quite right about making the most of it, I’ve got another holiday in a fortnight.

Afternoon all, life is fickle and cruel at times. Not feeling myself at the moment and last nights shenanigans near me after a certain 💩 show football match. Neighbours car go damaged, luckily mine and young oxos didn't. Some unlucky individuals being spoken to by the Plod. Luckily I'm off work till Monday and riding over the wkend plus the family is dragging me out for a birthday meal. Suspect a few beers maybe had tonight.

Feel for you there @Stevo 666

Got a friend in her early 50s. I've kind of let the friendship drift (partly because she moved to Zurich) and haven't visited her for a few years, and she didn't respond to any messages

Her husband posted last week that he'd had to move her into a care facility as her Alzheimer's was too advanced for him to care for her at home.

Before that, fit and healthy with a good diet.

Early onset dementia is horrible.
