In Edinburgh we still have a lot of roads paved with Setts, in fact we have one right outside where I work.

Coming back to the office after getting something to eat for lunch I saw a young lady riding her bike towards me. Now, being summer she was wearing a top that displayed her generous décolletage.

I am sad to inform you that I failed to note the make of her bicycle let alone the groupset she was using.

Apparently the setts in my street - recently tarmaced over - were laid by Napoleonic prisoners of war. Good for the bones, bad for history...

Not quite cobbles as I thought, but, almost.

I've pedalled over quite a few of those in Bratislava and Budapest. Riding behind lycra clad ladies was a very pleasurable experience. My lycra clad glutes in the same environment startled timid women and terrified horses.
