Help !

I need to dissuade Wifey from spending £100 on a bespoke sewing machine trolley (for transporting her machine from her car to sewing classes).

Any lashup ideas welcome. Big wheels would be preferable in order to negotiate gravel car park.

If the sewing machine falls off, I can blame you lot !

Even I, with a large double bedroom as my yarn and fabric stash wouldn't even bother with one of those.

What type of machine is it?

My wife has a pullable trolley - bit like a giant OAP's shopping trolly. She can drop the sewing machine in the bottom, and fabric on top. PS you d know sewing machines can be as expensive as bikes and N+1 applies too !! My wife has 6 machines !

Ah, just checked, my wife's is £70 on amazon. You can get the trolley's from £50 up. I'm sure she dropped a zero off the end when she told me about it ;)

What about a foldable flatbed trolley? There are various to be had, so something should suit. They are also relatively inexpensive - iirc the one from Machine Mart is around the 25 quid mark...

Us cat show bods use them and they work reasonably well enough.

I've just had a chat with my wife about this, apparently a serger isn't a sewing machine.

I recently transported my sewing machine in a cabin-size suitcase with wheels.
That sounds like a caravan.

How much does this machine weight?
I transported 20kg of cat litter 3 potholed streets from shop to home, in a £ 7.99 shopping trolley, base reinforced with a remnant piece of laminate.
Trolley is still doing his job years later.
