Straddle the line, discord and rhyme
Overlong, repetitive, don't understand a lot of the language, don't really care about the characters, can't really tell what's happening and not sure where it's going, seems like it might be considered clever by those "in the know", other people seem to think it's important, and I'm not sure whether it's a comedy or a tragedy.

This thread has not convinced me to give Shakespeare another try. Quite the opposite.

Or just don't read it?
Id love to, honestly but it keeps popping up in new posts and...like a fool
..i keep assuming someone has added something interesting.

Ok, I'm going to give it a go.

So, given how long the text has existed, how many productions have been attempted, how many new interpretations have been resigned to the cliche drawer and how much time has passed....has Shakespeare had its day...is it time for us to accept that its all been done before and that all we can ever hope for is a facsimile that most suits our own personal tastes.

That might have been me. I was misinformed by Cunobelin that he had asked for a refund and that trading standards had backed him. That caused me to "lie and make stuff up" (his words) by stating he'd had a refund.

And there's me saying I'd leave off this now silly argument - lieing again I guess

Which tragically sounds similar to the motorist being "forced" to dangerously overtake a cyclist because they misread the situation

Still - each to their own standards
