I have just read a report that Australian cricket has died in Thailand; age 52.

The best spin bowler ever, arguably the greatest bowler ever, and a bloody good character. Shane has been found dead at his villa in Thailand, a heart attack is suspected.

What a shock when i read that,when idols from the 60's go like footballers you followed or film stars they are in their 80's,but Shane Warne was not even in his 60's.You never know when its your turn,condolences to his family and friends.

I think Shane lived a very very full life, but I thought that settling down in the last 10 years had been very beneficial in that regard.

Warne was really important to the game of cricket. I think it isn't going too far to say he was the reason for the resurgence in leg spin bowling that you can now see whenever you switch on the TV to watch a game
