On a whim l bought these bars from China ( £19 inc delivery) now l am just playing around to see what l can do with them and maybe even install them on a bike .....Ok so l am a bit bored , just trying to keep busy

Those hooks look deadly. Are the brake cables supposed to run through them?

Last time l looked it was straight up from where l am in SW France but l don't take anything for granted

I completely get what you mean and l will probably end up with something like the Tektro but in the meantime l'm going to have some fun seeing if l can make "captain Hooks" work , although it does mean drilling holes in the bars at the post end to let the cable out
