My Whippet's not experienced a beach yet, I can't wait!

Apart from Bournemouth all our other nearby (If 60 miles can be classed as nearby!) beaches are pebbles, not so good for whippety paws ... holidays on the other hand ....

Ahhhhh, the youth of today at play

They are a happy bunch and have given their parents a lot of pleasure and very few problems over the years.

They suggested the cigars as a Christmas treat so we indulged them. I was gobsmacked by the price of cigars and even more gob smacked by the ease at which they took to the cigars though they extinguished them early and have saved them for the post Boxing Day fry up.

There was a golden opportunity to catch all three males at Levy Towers unconscious in the same room but it was not seized upon.

Also Northumberland... a bit further south that Reiver's shot, at Druridge Bay, pre-dinner walk on the beach.

We did have some artistic Christmas tree carrots at lunch:

This morning we've had some good outdoors fun:

They are out at the park now, I might get the Brom out and potter down to the shop for more bread and stuff...

I like my steak rare. I nice bit of locally reared longhorn sirloin:

A nice rib of Venison (rare again - do you see a pattern). Mrs VC had already slapped a load of sauce on before taking the picture, slightly spoiled my careful composition:
