Don't shave/depilate. The hairs on your legs can act like a cat's whiskers and help you guage small gaps when filtering, and detect wind direction.

Point of Order - The Forth Road Bridge has now been painted in a paint that means it will not need painting again for some considerable length of time.

Further point of order.

The forth road bridge is a concrete structure which doesn't get painted.
Not substantially anyway.

The big iron bridge covered in red paint is the Forth Bridge to give it its correct title.
Not The Forth Road Bridge.
Not The Forth Rail Bridge.

Just, The Forth Bridge.

OMG! I must be a real man

There is an easy way to tell.

Do you have a bald head?

Well I do have a head that's bald

Are you covered in tats?

Well no, but I do have a secret yearning to tattoo a discrete little bird next to my bikini line, I thought a Swallow would be most appropriate
Do you drink every night?

I must admit that most nights I do have a little Babycham or fruit based cocktail before retiring to the candle lit bathroom for my evening soak.

Do you think a woman's place is in the home?

Absolutely, I'm not one of those neanderthals that believes you should keep them in kennels

I've just driven over the Forth Road Bridge. Looked like a fair bit of steel in use to me. 39,000 tonnes of it apparently. Wikipedia article. My local bridge over the Humber is showing some of the same structural problems now as well.

A pity Barbara Castle didn't live long enough to pay for her vote buying.

Was it the big red one that everyone talks about a man continually painting and when he gets to the end he just goes back and starts again ?

The iron one ?

Or was it the road bridge, a concrete and steel structure, not painted red ?

Big red one = 51,000 tonnes
The bridge material is very obviously connected to shaving your legs as human hair is stronger than steel. Possibly.
So very much on topic then <cough>
