Shimano cassette body issues

Hi all

After a many an hour reading many treads on this awesome site, i have a query i for you peeps.

I need to get holds of a cassette body for a 10 spd shimano 105 rear hub (11-25). its for a 2008 genesis equilibrium if that helps. apparently theres issues getting the correct one from the suppliers (according to LBS dood).

Does anyone know which type i may need and, where i might procure one????

The thought of my ride gathering dust is almost too much to handle

Any internet shop should have one, ribble or chainreactons for example. I've never ordered from ribble but with crc things come within a couple of days.

Great! thanks guys i'll give them a check. i take it theres little chance of buying the wrong one given the info i already have... Really would hate to fork out for one thats incompatable

UnlikelyDarn near impossible with a 2008 bike and your quite clear thats its a 105 10speed 11-25. With older bikes there's a freewheel/ freehub issue but that won't be a problem for you.

i prob should have checked the link you put up before. its the actually freewheel body im after not the cassette. its proving to be a bit of a pig to know which one i need, let alone where i will get it.

I'm gonna make a few hundred more phone calls and hopefully i may be the wiser...

Oops, is this what you mean? I reckon you would need the fh-5600 but don't take my word for it.

i know its a 5600 i need so yeah that could well be the one.
