Hi,

I am looking at buying a rear cassette to replace my worn HG80 11-28T , and also the front chainring. Surprised to how much they cost. Has anyone any experiance of other compatible manufactures? or is it best to spend the extra on Shimano?

Bike used is for Sunday morning blasts and hopefully a completed Sportive this summer.....

BBB do Shimano compatible cassettes, I have been having a few problems with getting a new one as you may have seen, prices seem to have shot up since before Xmas when I originally started looking around.
Is it a 9 or 8 speed you're looking for?

Looking at the SRAM too.... trying to figure out if the Sram PG950 is similar spec to the Shimano HG 80..though to be honest if I want 11-28 it will do ok....

Anybody had any experiances with SRAM cassettes?

Also BBB? I have found a 11-28t..

Hi Banjo...

Got out at last, 45miles..... turbo does make a difference,

Hoping to get out more, June is approaching rather fast...

Would you use the SRAM on your main bike?
